Maicy Jo Schwartz is writer and comedian in New York City. She currently studies Television Production and English at Iona College, and will graduate with honors in May, 2018. At Iona, she is a regular contributor of the Features and Lifestyle section of the student-run newspaper. She's held positions as an intern and production assistant at various NYC television shows, including Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Chris Gethard Show, and CNN Tonight with Don Lemon. She is currently a Production Assistant at The Chris Gethard Show , working primarily in the audience department.

 

Maicy is an alum of The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, where she studies and performs improv, and sketch comedy. Her written work has been featured on Funny or Die, The Ionian, and Comedywire.com. She hosts a monthly comedic variety show in Brooklyn, New York that features all female-identifying performers. In Spring, her paper, "Women as Temptation in Woody Allen" will be published as part of a scholarly journal, and presented at a symposium in York, England.

She would like to be the next host of NBC’s Tonight Show.
